my 1st question is this i will quote it from another forum.
Quote:
for about 2 - 3 months already (maybe longer) my back up lights have been out. and i have replaced the bulbs numerous times, i have checked and replaced all fuses, i have check the wire connection, i have followed the wires as far as i can and did not see anything cut anywere.
could someone help me figure out what is wrong.. i think it could have something to do with the sensor on the shifter not engaging or something im not sure though.

i was told to check the switch on the tranny and im not sure exactly were it is i think i might of found it, when i place it in reverse i can see what looks like would be the sensor. it was on the top right side (if your looking dead on at the car) kinda surrounded by the tranny.
and to test the switch someone told me to put the car in the on possition and then take a papper clip and stick in the back of the switch and check to see if the back up lights work and if they do then the switch is bad, if they stay off its a hotwire, ground, or bad bulb..
As for my other question..
I have bought a aftermarket tach have it mounted and everything works but i cant seem to find my stock tach wire someone told me it was the white wire number 21 on the computer i have tried every single white wire and nothing has worked but making my car sound like a damn lawnmower ???
so i was wondering if anyone could help me find a tach adaptor of some sort so that it will actually work like its supposed to..
thanks for your help in advance
