User Manual

Hello there,

I live in the Neherlands and yesterday i bought a chevrolet fleetside 1962 with a 283" V8 engine manual 3 speed gearbox. It needs to be restaured and there are no additional papers with the car. Is it possible that anyone can send me a copy of an owners manual or service manual by email in an pdf file. Thanks very much!!!

Regards René Verschuur

Re: User Manual

Welcome Aboard!

In my searching, owner's manuals are available in pdf format for many newer vehicles, but for older vehicles, they are rare unless someone has scanned an original. The owner's manual will have only limited information. For a restoration, a service manual and assembly manual will be very helpful.

I've also used this place for parts and reference materials:

Re: User Manual

You might even consider a source like Hemmings Motor News for an owners manual. I've seen manuals for many different older vehicles in their classifieds. There are even companies that might have the manual you need that advertise in there. They have an online site that you could search their classifieds. Hopefully if you are interested in looking in one of their catalogs, they are available where you live. Here is the site with their search function:http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/search Main site: hemmings.com Good luck.
