Exclamation Unknown Problem

Well. I got some issues with my car. I don't know a lot about cars, but I know a little bit. Mines a Automatic if this helps. Whats happening is that its running really rough in idle, almost to the point were its going to shut off. The whole car shakes in pulses my RMP's rise and go down a little. When I push my brakes it does the same thing unless I have my air turned on. I was stopping the same day this happened when I first found out beacause my car stalled. Then I don't have any problems except the brakes being really really bad. This isn't normal either. I think the problems are related because it happened just randomly one day once I turned my car on. Its kind of rough in idle before, but it just got really bad out of no where. Alos when I push my brakes down I here like a hissing sound. The harder I push down the louder it is. It sounds like pressure is escaping from something. Also when I push my brakes I have to floor them just to get my car to slow down.

Thanks.

Re: Unknown Problem

your braking system rely on engine vaccume so if it running rough you will have hard brakes like when the car is shut off. It could be alot of things.
first check you spark plug and wires for sign of carbon tracking like a black lightning bolt on the plug burn spot, if that replace plugs and wires. check for vaccume leaks. Your timing could be off. pull the valve cover off and check the timing marks. Just take it to a mazda dealer and let the pro fix it.
