slipping clutch/transmission?

i have an 03, eco auto cavy and while driving around town i noticed a slip and grip kind of feeling in the pedal when i turned right at a stop light. so a couple days later i figured i would go and try to solve the problem. it seems to only occur when turning right, the wheel about 1/2 a turn and greater and the throttle at about 50% or greater. it feels like the tire is slipping like it were driving over water, but the pavement was dry. i am hoping its not the clutch or anything and just the cold weather. hopefuly its just a cold tranny, even though the problem persists when the engine is cold, and also when it is warm.
any ideas? thanks in advance
