anybody have their stock stereo stuff?

specifically looking for stock cd player headunit that's in good shape for a 2001 blazer lt, and the front door speakers.

my headunit's buttons are all worn off and the passenger door speaker is blown.

I've been doing a lot of looking and I don't want to get into the expense or the headache of putting an aftermarket headunit and front speakers in

so help me out, I'm sure you've got these lying around in the garage

Re: anybody have their stock stereo stuff?

It's just as easy to install aftermarket and will probably be cheaper. Anyway you look at it you'll have to pull the door panels and the front of the dash so why not put something better in?

it's just as easy to install stock, no bypassing of crossovers, onstar, or the amp, and looks better IMO I hate the way single din headunits look in a 1.5din hole with the adapter plates

How much would you want for a pair of front door speakers? Are they the exact same as my truck? It has an amp in the back right of the cargo area.

Re: anybody have their stock stereo stuff?

I found a stock cd player at the junkyard for $20 so I don't need that anymore.

how do I tell if the truck has the bose option? Do I have to pull the speakers and check the backs of them?

when I had the door panel off last week the door speaker looked like a plain black paper cone midrange 6.5"

let me see a pic of them and I'll compare to mine, it may take me a few days though as I'm entering finals week, but I just ordered a new window regulator so I'll be taking the door panel off again when that comes in.

Re: anybody have their stock stereo stuff?

hmm I'll pass on those, the one on the right in that pic has a pretty clear tear in the surround.
