Question 2001 Blazer Fuel pump

My 2001 Blazers fuel pump wont stop running, Right now im left with pulling the fuse to the pump inorder to stop it everytime i turn the truck off.
Has anyone had this problem ? does anyone know what it might be to save me some mechanic bill ?

thanks

Re: 2001 Blazer Fuel pump

There is a good chance that the pump power relay is stuck (welded) closed.

Re: 2001 Blazer Fuel pump

So does that mean i should replace the relay, someone said to try and reset the computer.. Would that work ? The fuel pump constantly runs unless i pull the fuse out. Its becoming very annoying.
