Hello all,
I have a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo with a 3.2 v6. I have the timing belt off and I don't think the engine was properly positioned when i removed the tensioner
Is it possible to re-position the crankshaft / camshafts with the timing belt off? If so, is it as easy as putting both camshaft timing marks to where the camshaft springs to the vertical?
I noticed that the camshaft sprokecs "spring" into position when you rotate them - the haynes manual isn't really helpful with the proceedure if the belt has broken.
Any help would be greatly apreciated!
