97 stering squeak

I have a 97 cirrus that the rack and pinion sound like it squeaks when i turn the wheel the problem with finding the problem is it stops when i jack it up to locate it . Any suggestions would be great . I think it may be bushings? Not sure ,thanks for any help . May be someone has a clue.
