I posted awhile back on this forum that my wifes 98 was not selling.
Well I changed the ad's I had placed by adding 2 things and had people calling left and right, actually it sold 1 day after I changed the ad, I added a few photo's and explained the high miles were highway miles (180.000).
I didn't place photo's in the first ad because I figured everybody knew what a 98 Astro looked like, but from now on I will never underestemate the power of a picture again.
I guess I can still visit this board now and then to help others since I learned alot about Astro's after own'ing one, but will still visit the GMC boardsince I still own my truck.
We did enjoy our Astro and already miss it but the need for the cash and the wifes seemingly magnetic acttraction to those yellow barrior poles while driving it forced the need to sell it. Did make out pretty well on it though.
Payed $300.00, spent $200.00 in parts, investment Total of $500.00, drove it 6 mos added 8k miles over the summer and sold it for $2.500.00.
I only wish I could make out the same on every auto purchase/sale.
