I own a 99JGC with quadra drive full time 4x4. the problem is that when i give it gas at between 20mph and 55mph i get this loud clunking sound coming from under the jeep what the heck is that. i think transfer case is going, also when given gas on snow or slippery conditions i hear a dddddddd sound sort a say any guesses b4 i rip it out.:uhoh:

cant help you with the clunking noise. but the ddddddd sound when its slippery out probably is your abs brakes. they make that noise when they are doing there job

I think thats incorrect because i'm not appling brake at the time. and it's from a stand still. i still think it's the transfercase gears slipping.
