Tire Comparison

So, looking for 4 new tires for my Z for spring. Don't drive it in winter or wet weather (or try not to), so looking for a good dry traction tire. Looking at BFG G-Force and found 2 different types, the G-Force Sport and the G-Force T/A KDW's, the Sports are cheaper but ultimately do that same thing as the others. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Compar...=0&sortValue=1 What's the difference and should I pay the extra if its a better tire? Or are these any good? Also considering the Nitto 555's, but can't find a place to buy them from, any suggestions? And one more thing, what has excellent tread life? I don't do burnouts, just run them hard sometimes on the streets. Thanks.

Re: Tire Comparison

I run the KDW's on the front.
So far I love them.

Re: Tire Comparison

How's road noise with those? I read some reviews and people say there produce a lot of road noise and they wear really fast after the first year or so.

Re: Tire Comparison

Only had them on about 8 months, but they look new (3,000 miles or so) and they aren't loud.

Re: Tire Comparison

I run Kumho Ecsta 712's and they are by far the best tire I've ever put on my car in the 22 years I"ve owned it. They get good traction and will NOT hydroplane, a major plus.
