98 4.0 GC Oil pressure sensor/gauge

My oil pressure gauge likes to stick sometimes at 37 at all speeds. I know it's supposed to vary and sometimes it does go up to 40 but lately it sticks a lot. How can I remedy this? Could the connection be loose at the gauge? I tried to find info in my Haynes but there really isn't much info or I missed it. The oil pressure sensor is near the oil filter correct? Any quick pics of it's actual location would help a bunch. I really hate having inaccurate gauges. It really aggrevates me. Please help.

I don't know about the 98 but the 96 had a TSB out on this. The fix was flashing the PCM. SJ

Thanks. My wife's nephew is head tech at a Dodge/Jeep dealership and I'm seeing him tomorrow. I'll get him to fix it...
