I am troubleshooting a 1990 Stanza, and looking for insight.

The Problem: Low power, very poor fuel economy.

Was told that dealership has looked at it twice, resealed the fuel injectors the first time, replaced one injector and resealed the rest the second time.

I am thinking either a computer/sensor problem first, possible fuel rail/return line blockage second, or maybe a compression problem.

Anyone having dealt with this problem before and willing to share input-it would be appreciated.

try the psi pump. it's in the gas tank . to gain acess you may have to remove the back seat or there's a cover in the trunk, remove the cover. you will see another cover with 2 hose and a harness remove it and there you will see the pump and fuel gauge sensor . normally the pump is attached to it . the pump has a filter to the bottom which normaly cloggs with unclean gas. use an injector cleaner spray to clean it. this works for most cars.......... pls give more info on the problem

If it was the fuel pump, he wouldn't see a problem in fuel economy!

So you should ask the dealership to use the "Nissan Consult" and see if you get the O2 sensor works properly. Could also be a MAF (Mass Air Flow meter)
but the engine would potentialy cut off at 2500rpm.

Always check your Fuel Filter (for the low power, not for the MPG)
