3.4 L to a 305 ???

i have a 3.4L 1994 manual camaro it has a lot of miles and im thinking of putting a 305 in it after i get the money my ? is will the tranny mach up or will i have to get a new tranny to? please respond thanks

You will need a new transmission, along with a bunch of other things.

Transmission, PCM and wiring harness - along with mounts, radiator (the V6 unit won't adequately cool a 305), and all associated hardware. It's a big job, but can be done. Good luck and God Speed!

that sucks man i wonted to be able to just change them out but i jess i will have to replace it with a nother 3.4L V6 man that sucks bad thanks for the help tho

About the only things that will transfer over is the drive shaft and rear end (which should be changed to a limited slip one).

that wouldn't be a good idea for a swap anyway, your 3.4 makes more HP than the TBI 305, and as much HP as the TPI 305.
