1999 Chevrolet Tahoe DRL not working

The Daytime Running Lights have recently stopped working. I have checked the DRL fuse. The low beam and high beam bulbs are all working. What could be causing them not to work? A relay or module?

If the green headlights icon on the instrument cluster is on, it's probably not the module. I think most of the time the DRL diode burns out. The relay may be bad but from what we've read here it's usually the diode. They get old and crispy after this many years, and they are easy to replace.

Thanks. The little green light is on. Is there another post that you could point me to that instructs me how to replace the diode? Where is it located? Is the diode something I have to puchase from a dealer?
