Question Loud grinding sound on 95 Cirrus

I have a 95 Cirrus & my wife drives it.
We noticed this evening as she was driving, we heard a grinding sound from the left driver side as she turned.
Could this possilby a loose brake pad or ball joint problem ?
Also thinking it could be related to a bad motor mount.
It has happened once before & we changed the front brake pads & no more noise.
I would appreciate anyones input.
Thanks.
