Unhappy Golf - vibrates when stationery

I have a 2002 golf se tdi it is totally standard and has 37,000 miles on the clock. For the past 4 months it has been in and out of the dealers with a recurrent problem. When sitting at traffic lights or queing in traffic the car sometimes not always, almost vibrates and shakes, you can actually feel yourself moving. Has anyone had the same problem or can anyone give me any advice on what it could possible be. The car had a new clutch in 35,000 miles and I am sure it has done it since this. It has been in the dealers 5 times now and they haven't got a clue what it could be. Any help would be much appreciated.

That tells you something isn't right with the instalation. Vibration comes from reciprocating parts, usually from not being fastened right, unbalalanced, warped or tightened down too tight on one side. There are five major parts that turn in the clutch system. Flywheel, pressure plate, cutch disc, throwout bearing and the bolts that fasten the system togegether. Any of this not being the correct part or not torqued down to spec could cause a vibration problem.

He is right. There are a number of possible reason for this... Try to see if something is deffinitely loose and if you can't find it just go at some repair garage - they will deffinitely help
