531.1 RWHP
481.1 ft/pounds

But not on that pull.
Can anyone tell me why that pull was 470 RWHP? :D

I am guessing that you were spinning the tires on the dyno. Sounds good man.

Why did the one guy spray your back tired with something? I thought it sounded like it ran up there kinda fast...lol.

Never mind

A dyno's version of VHT.
Belt dressing. To assist in traction with a high horsepower car.

This is the sad part.
SAE corrected numbers....
531.1 RWHP
481.1 ft/pounds

Actual non-adjusted numbers....
443.5 RWHP
402.0 ft/pounds

And the track is 600 feet higher than the dyno shop.

so you only really gained like 6 hp or so?

Mr. Luos
11-05-2006, 09:36 PM
More than that.
Picked up 11 RWHP and 15 ft/pounds in the non-corrected numbers.
The SAE numbers were 8 RWHP and 11 ft/pounds gained.

The non-corrected numbers are more important here.
Plus, the computer was still learning the new flow. Only had about 20 miles of drive time with the cutouts on.

You dont have any cats. Do you have the check engine light on? If not did you have to have them tuned out? I am getting tired of mine being on...lol

Put some electrical tape over the light so you can't see it anymore....

I'm guessing the guy sprayed VHT on your tire to help with traction.. Unfortunately I don't think he sprayed enough on there. By the sound of that lope why did you choose such a small cam :) ?

Sounds bad ass congrats.

Not VHT.
It is your everyday belt dressing. Works on the dyno somehow. I don't get into that stuff.

Updated the video.
It now has three different pulls on the dyno.
Basicly all three exhaust set-ups I have run with the 402 LSx.

I love the powerband. Anything above 4200 is evil....but it still kicks up back from 2300 and up.

Sorry...scanner is down so I had to snap a pic of the graphs. This is before and after the cutouts. Roughly two months separate the pulls.
Computer also didn't have much time to learn the cutouts...maybe 20 miles. Normally the PCM likes 80 miles to adjust for minor things like that. It picked up 1-2 RWHP each pull last week.
