choices, choices, choices

well, i have been watching this forum for a while, and i finally have something to say. I am about to buy a new vw, and have some choices to make. I don't wanna spend more than 17k on the car itself b/c of the mods i plan on doing. SO... do i got with the 2002 wolfsburg or the 2002 GLS with the VR6. The turbo will be switched out for a much larger hybrid, so turbo isn't a consideration. Also, i will get rims for the VR6, so did i just answer my own question? Anyhow, any one have some insight on my dilemna? Which engine will be the most efficient?
1.8L turbo vs. the 2.6L... also, this engine will be built up. Maybe a NOS fogger sys as well... bout 20k worth of audio upgrades= show car!!!

LEMME KNOW!!!!! :bandit:

If you don't care for the turbo cuz you are getting a bigger one, get the VR6.

hey dude.. i'm a newbie but i'll voice my opinion..
get the new 2002 vr6.. it's maDDD tight.. hehe
the 1.8t doesn't come with the dual chrome exhaust and ALSO comes with the 6speed tranny... mucho FUN
and since your gonna replace the turbo .. just put in a lil more money to drop that turbo into the vr6...
if you want more specs go to this website
