4th gen slp option?

while heading to college this morning i happen to see a 98-02 camaro not thinking nothing of it but the fact that i might want to play with him so i passed the person i front of me and slowly came up behind him and realized it was a girl so just cruised behind her (no offense to the ladies) and was looking closer at the rear of the car and realized it was a z-28 and i was like cool cause there is maybe 2or 3 ls1 maros in my area but alot of v6 4th gens. well i new i would have got smoke bc i was i the grand prix but i noticed the exhaust and it was a rectangular exhaust tip. now i dont know much about 4th gen maros but isnt that a slp option or did they come stock like that? and if that is not stock then that has to be the slp exhaust because it didnt have the gmmg chamered system because it had a muffler not the dented looking pipes. i dont know what other systems there are with those tips on there

Re: 4th gen slp option?

My 97 Z28 has the same rectangular tips on them and it is factory. I was lucky enough to get a B4C . I have seen many 4th gen camaro's in my area and the Z's always have those tips.....or obvious aftermarket ones.

Yes, the 4th gen stock tips for the Z28 are the rectangular ones.

Re: 4th gen slp option?

they had a whole bunch..i think flowmasters also has rectangular tips..

SLP SS (pre98) BASE = torsen differential, 'ram air' hood, spoiler, rims, springs, exhaust (2otl), fatter anti-roll bars in the front, shocks. theres prolly more but i cant get them off the top of my head..

you could also ask for oil cooler, stiff-ER suspension, etc.
