will the paint melt/disintegrate?

Hey everyone!

Alright, about a week ago, I got a bit of PVC piping to replace the upper resonator in my car, and I spray painted it with this black car exterior enamel, so that it would match the rest of the intake.

Today though, I was passing through a paint section, and I noticed that some paints said that they were "high temperature" paints.

I was just wondering, if I put in this PVC pipe, will the paint either melt or burn or disintegrate off and get all over my engine?

The upper resonator that I'll be replacing this with is above my engine, at the first part of my air intake assembly.

I wouldn't worry about the paint melting unless it's an inch close to the manifold. ive clearcoated engine vaulcovers before, and after a while the clear will start to crack, but ive never seen it melt. "dont paint your manifolds people".
