4WD 0-100 Time

Does anyone know how long it takes the 4WD Primera to reach 100km/h (600/h). Ive done a few trials and it seems pretty slow compared to the times that you guys are quoting. Ive got an SR20DE. In the Primera handbook, which is in Japanese, I can make out that a 2WD will do 60 in first and 95 in second (km/h). It says that the 4WD will do 55 in first and 90 in second. Is this because of a different gearbox and hence different gear ratios or because of lost power in the 4WD system?
Also any tips as to what is the best way to launch off the line?

I think about 8.2 seconds to climb to 100 km/h (60 m.p.h.)

Is that for your car?

I have a translated owners handbook covering the P10 range. It's written by www.jpnz.co.nz and I got it for $45 from www.hillside-books.com .
It doesn't have 0-100km/h times in it but this shows that the weight of the T4 is more and the final drive ratio is lower (as in a lower gear) than for other P10s.
T4 weight is listed as 1320-1340kg compared with 1180-1210kg for the TE.
T4 final reduction ratio is listed as 4.375 for 5 speed and 4.072 for the auto. For comparison, the Te has 4.176 for 5 speed and 3.872 for the auto. Looks like Nissan lowered the gearing in the T4 to compensate for the additional weight.
It listed the engine in the T4 as being the SR20DE ( note capital E) with 10:1 compression having 150PS@6400rpm and 19kg-m@4800rpm (137 foot-pounds).
Maybe someone with one of those funky acceleration calculator tools can plug the figures in and see what it should be theoretically.
Anyone know how PS converts to HP or kW?

The best way to launch it is NOT AT ALL!!!
Please be nice to it, 4WD launches are all bad they cause so much
strain on the drivetrain ESCPECIALLY if you have a h/duty clutch kit
fitted. The only way to get a good start I guess would be to let it slip then engage the clutch. My mates Mitsi has had 4 gearboxes so far
2 were from launching it and rarking it up..

Actualy I have a japan magazine that test the awd primera ,here are the results, they put it in a dyno
1998 cc 10.1cr 133hp 6120rpm 190 nm 4830rpm 0-100 10.18sec 0-400m 17.2 0-1000 31.44sec max speed 198km 1318kg p10

Have you tryed the car test ? I think is a very acurate program for aceleration.

Thanks for the info, I have some questions:
Was the car tested manual or auto transmission?
What octane rating fuel was used?
The dyno results, was that "wheel" horsepower and torque?
Where can I find the car test program?

Is the 133 hp in bhp or wheel horse power. If it is wheel horse power it does seem like quite a lot.

What is the car test? Is it some sort of computer program?

Thanks for all the info.
Does anyone know how this compares to a standard Te P10 0-100 time?

Ignore that stuff about the wheel horse power. I didnt read the other posts. They answered my question!

I did a 17.067 @ 130km/h in my T4

I launched at about 5-6000RPM - After a few runs my clutch got really hot and I did a 18. Then after letting it cool down a bit, I did another run and got all four wheels spinning on the line, which was a first in the dry for me :iceslolan
