You might pick up a Haynes repair manual for your car at a parts store, it will take you step by step thru the belt replacement and other things. Anyway, there should be a belt tensioner that can be pried back away from the belt allowing the belt to come off. The replacement procedure is just the opposite. It was fairly easy on my 98 Taurus, it may be different on yours, thats why I suggest a manual. You'll need specific tools to do the job. Good Luck.
