91 Chevy Lumina

I was sitting at a stop light when my car died out, I got it to start again but I only got across the street when I pulled over, it died again and has not started since. I have a strong gas smell when I try to start it, could someone please help me figure out what is wrong with it.

Re: 91 Chevy Lumina

Does the car have the 3.1L V-6? That would be good to know.
