Just dropped in and though I should say hi, especially as there appears to be one or two UK owners here. Even more surprising is the age group too (I'm 29 btw)

AWdiablo - gotta love the improved build of the 6.0's ;)
Jabba - I'm still undecided on your yellow wheels, but any Roadster is fine by me!
Abstract - fantastic colour :sun: Very 'american' wheels too!

I will be lurking around and no doubt participating in one or two discussions. In the meantime, here is a couple of pics of my Yellow Diablo SV Strosek which was at Gaydon Supercar Sunday a couple of weeks back. It's the only one in the UK as far as I know...

Your Diablo is Gorgeous to say the least. It looks like a '99. What modifications come on the Strosek Diablo and how much does one of those cost?

The two lasses in the Double Trouble picture look just... delicious ;) As for a living, I started an IT company in my garage aged 19 with 5000 pounds saved up from my previous job. Been in business ten years now and the last decade has been a blur of working, sleeping, and er... that's it really. Diablo Strosek is the wake-up call :)

Abstract: The car was not a Strosek when I brought it. All said and done the conversion cost just under 10k (GBP) but I didn't go the whole hog (I *hate* the Strosek rear). As for other nice rides, I have a Honda NSX which is simply superb - the handling and engine are sensational. Waaaaay underrated...

Porsche: Yes, they are rare. That's what attracts me to them :cool: Ferrari is too soft (effectively the next step up from a Porsche really - no offense). In London every other car is a Porsche, and every other five cars is a Ferrari. Lambo's are still very uncommon, and Strosek ones even less so. The Diablo is where it's at - the last supercar as supercars are meant to be.


Where is everyone located anyway?! A meet could be in order... Think of the cool photo op!

Porsche: Well I was exagerating a bit - but not by much trust me.

Slagwater: Use 640x480 res and Jpeg compression set at about 30% compression (to retain reasonably good quality). There is a button at the bottom of the 'POST' section to attach the file.

And er, why does everyone have odd nicks (Slagwater, Dogbreath...) :confused:


As for a meet, well I'd be happy to show people around and wouldn't mind putting someone up for a few days or week even (better finish the house refurb quick!!) Not that there's too much to see or do in deepest central England... :)

I'm always up for meeting other owners! And Lambo fans (when I get the time). I could talk Lambo 24hrs a day I think, but many of the members of the Lambo Club UK are, er, 'funny old sticks' shall we say! :D It would be nice to meet a (younger) crowd that I could relate to a bit more...

I think all of the Lambo owners here are under 35.

Must be a lot of young-money around to afford these cars. Actually, it's not the buying of the car, it's the constant sticker-shock every time you have ANYTHING done to it, however small. It's like - "he drives a Lambo - he can afford it..." and then the 'supplier' adds a 400% markup!

my lambo is like the worst in the forum here, Abstract's #5 of 12 Alpine Edition is mad to the top, Jabba's (Dogs breath) Roadster has the rim i want, Slagwater have the Millenuim Edition, i love that colour! CA have the mad front bumper!! AW's 6.0 is mad!

It's actually a TT V-6, The concept had a 12 cylinder though. :)

If work goes well I plan to grace the driveway with one of Modena's finest, but for sheer spectacle, you can't beat a Diablo in the UK!

I just bought my first lambo a couple of months ago, and its fun to see I'm not the only one with a limited edition! I own #11 out of 12 MOMO 99' Roadsters and one of the 6 Rosso Vik (candy apple red) cars. Serial is#12289.

I'll see if I too can dig up a pic.

My Roadster is #4. I'd love to see some pictures of your Momo.

You can attach the pics via the option at the bottom when you post a reply or you can upload them to an ftp server and then link them.

Yup, they sure are! As far as I know I think they are only available for the limited editions (MOMO, Alpine, Monterey, millennium), although I think now you can buy them.
