Wait to push the pedal down
Until you are ready to shift.
First pass on some tires that hook and honestly it caught me off guard.

Just figured you guys could get a laugh at my expense.

Re: Wait to push the pedal down
don't take it so bad, it's just telling you that you need more power.
it's like a rule, you need enough power to be able to screw up, then destory the competition to show you're not beaten.

Re: Wait to push the pedal down
I'm a little confused, did you just hook and then run out of gear and forget to shift?

Re: Wait to push the pedal down
I clutched in right at the launch. Got off the line and it caught me off-guard.
Foot went down...on the clutch pedal.
Just a video to laugh at me.

Re: Wait to push the pedal down
Ahhhh, I see now, I thought you were talking about the gas pedal . Oh, well it looks like you had more than enough to come back on that other car, I couldn't get a good look at it, what was it anyways?
That was good for a little chuckle, I could only imagine what it would feel like to take off like that, my car just spins

Re: Wait to push the pedal down
If the track was any longer, I would have passed him.
That was the worst run I have had since the swap. Not the slowest trap though.
He got me by a tenth though. I was going quite a bit faster than he was crossing the traps though.
I think it was a fastback Mustang.

Re: Wait to push the pedal down
I didn't really understand that either.
So I considered the source...and just ignored it.

Re: Wait to push the pedal down
That was the first pass I ever made on those tires.
I have since gone 1.67x short time on them and ran 11.97.
