I love mochas in the morning... but there's a new reason I like winters...

It was 34 degrees this morning.

My car has a cold air intake.

Re: A new reason to enjoy winter...

I love mochas in the morning as well and defiantly love the winter

I've always loved the sound of the CAI during the colder months.
Sounds way to mean for a GA....gotta love the looks on peoples faces.

Maybe I need to get one for my car one of these days. Don't know if I wanna spend the money though.

Re: A new reason to enjoy winter...

yes it was very cold up here this morning
I saw snow flying last night, didnt last long tho.

I like the CAI sound all the time.
It is more noticable when its cold because you get more O2 is cold air.

boug, you dont hav a CAI ?

Thats kraxy !

You can find them pretty cheap on ebay, I got reammed when I bought my first one around $300 !

Re: A new reason to enjoy winter...

ChromeIntakes is where I got mine (ebay). Was like 80 dollars! The CAI goes all the way down into the wheel well and is covered by the plastic down there so it won't really get wet (at least I've never noticed it getting wet!). Relatively easy install and as you know it makes your car have balls I like when I slam the gas and I hear the high-pitched pull that almost sounds like a BOV followed by the roar of my engine as it pulls air in... it's so awesome!!!

Re: A new reason to enjoy winter...

Yes Vipey they do get wet from time to time.

In the SE, I tried driving through some deep water one night and it got really soaked :banghead
Had to dry it out for a day before it was totally dry.

My GT has one of the CAI from CHromeintakes, its a little thinner metal, but still works great for the price.
