Does the subwoofers still work. Was the smoke comming from the amp or the woofers ? If it was the woofers i would check the voice coils and if it was the amps i would check and see if there still working.

It's a bandpass box with 2 12" subs. The smoke was out of the ports on the box. Everything seems to be working. I'll have to pull the box apart and check them out.

Was it smoke or could it have been dust from when they manufactured the box?

Edit: You could also be frying your wires. Did it smell like anything.
