College
I know there is quite a few of us on here that are in college, hows it going for everyone?
So far its going ok for me. I am sorta hit and miss on my grades, sometimes I think I got a good grade locked down and then I just fuck it up while other times I think I am going to do horse shit for a score but end up with a better than average grade.
I am super busy with homework and studying. Between school work, class, practicing guitar for my band, trying to get a bite to eat, and occasionally some sleep, I dont have much free time anymore. I dont hardly even remember what AIM or MSN is . I still make time to stop in here and see whats going on, usually just to take a 5-10 minute break from my studies so I dont go crazy over my physics or calc.
So hows everyone else's college experience so far?

Re: College
23 credits, 25 hours a week at work, 10 hours of basketball a week, homework is all done and I have plenty of time for everything.
Taking Physics based Calc, calc 1(I already know calc, didnt transfer), gen chem 1, art appreciation, macro econ, and english 1
Going for civil engineering and Im actually getting really bored with my schedule now, almost like I dont have enough to do. I usually read the paper before my first class is over and do all the word games( crossword, word jumble, sudoku, cryptoquip) before half way through the day. Maybe Ill take another class lol. Just had 3 test this week and Im 100% I aced them all.
Edit:
Forgot to mention that Im trying to get my A.A. in a year including summer classes.

Re: College
I'm not quite sure how it works in the states but I'm a full time student and I only get 2.5 credits a semester. I just got an exam back yesterday worth 30% in my quantitative methods class busted out a mean 87%. Still I got this other exam today and for some reason some of the electronic readings are locked and i can't access them. Nevertheless shit is going real good here. After I finish this exam I'm on ez street for the next couple of weeks...
So I'm starting it off with carribean party at my house tonight. We got some pina coladas some banana/strawberry daquiris a whole whack of rum. Too bad its freezing out and we don't got a beach but im sure the girls will dress up hot anyways

Re: College
Been going so-so for me. This is my sophomore year, and I'm beginning to wonder why the fuck I ever went to college....but now that I have gone this far, I might as well finish it out and get a degree.
There are so many general credits/campus requirements that you need to go through to get a degree in anything. Like speech class...who fucking cares. I gave this amazing speech last night and it was supposed to be 5 minutes....4 minutes and 54 seconds and the speech was GOOD...but because it was our first one, the professor decided that nobody in the class deserves higher than a B so she can grade us on improvement over the semester. Stupid bitch...
I have also found that work helps me a lot. I work at the tech help desk, and I get loads of downtime to study and surf the net, and I get paid to do it. If I didn't have this job, I don't know what I would do because if I have something better to do than study (party, sleep, etc) I do it. But since I'm forced to sit here, it forces me to study, which helps the GPA so all is good.

Re: College
Well lets just say, I slacked off way too much last year. Now I'm on academic probation, and I have to do really good or I'm screwed. lol
Oh well, so far I think I'm doing good. I just need to bring my grade up in one class

Re: College
I just hate school. I hate it so much, I feel like throwing a tantrum before and after every exam. Marine bio, genetics, metabolic biochem, and psych this quarter. Why am I doing this? Maybe one day I'll know...

Re: College
15 Credit hours as a full time for me. I'm a senior... second to last semester for me!! Yah! Can't wait to graduate and actually work full time for once.
I started off slacking this semester, but found my strength in energy drinks. Now I'm actually awake, paying attention, and bringin up my grades. I'm an average student, usually get C's and B's. Can't complain, bout would always love an A sometimes. Also realized that staying awake gives me more time to talk to the hotties around me. Been taking full advantage of that. Now, if only the g/f would stop texting me while I'm getting my flirt on.......

Re: College
18 credits, 20 - 30 hours work a week. Last semester I'll be done in december. Holy crap I can't wait. This semester is ripping me a new one. Classes are owning me.
My car is suffering. It needs work and I have a room full of parts but no time to love it like it needs... fmic, turbo, link, new interior, new paint, injectors... :/ however I think all of december is going to be me "playing" in the garage woo!
