gm 3.1 misfire

I have 97 chevy lumina with3.1..dtc code says misfire cylinder 6...checked plugs..ok...check resistance on plug wire...ok...swapped coils ...same misfire..swapped plug wires..same misfire. Now for more info.Misfire seems to go away when rpm is increased by 500...Can someone please help me

the next thing to check is compression and the injector on the offending cylinder. Since changing the ignition components changed nothing, it must be a fuel or compression related misfire.

I bought 6 Accel ACC-150117: 17 lbs. fuel injectors off of ebay and my cyl 1 misfire went away.

They sent 5 of the 150117's and one of something else but were quick to make it right. Still have the other one maybe I'll ebay it someday

I'm not a mechanic so it took me about 3 hours to install them.

Did you repalce 5 injectors or just the one that was missing?

Well i think i figured out the problem.....easy fix....ansoil PI fuel treatment...car doesnt miss any more and runs considerably better...Probably dirty injectors
