1994 c1500 brakes questionBowtiePowerhouse 10-08-2006, 01:57 AM currently: replaced all mechanical parts in both the front and rear brakes. nice, new, and working as opposed to stuck to the drum, dragging, and tons of air in the lines lol. anyway, new calipers rotors pads.......... and yet the pedal is still somewhat spungy. the brakes were bled correctly on all 4 wheels. (me and father, me pump a few he bleeds yell stop before the pedal hits the floor etc). i was wondering what else in the line could cause a spungy pedal. weak/worn brake lines expanding instead of passing the fluid through? im somewhat stumped. alblogg 10-08-2006, 11:41 AM Did you change the rubber lines to front hubs? I know the hose can deteriorate on the inside causing different problems so this could be your problem. They look good on the outside but bad on the inside. BowtiePowerhouse 10-08-2006, 03:01 PM ill swap em out and see if that changes it. only 20-30 bucks on the road to restoration :) vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
