1968-1970 Charger

Im 17 and have close to $5000 saved up. Im looking around for a charger project car. preferably with little body work (as I have no experience with body repair) I would be fine with a rolling shell with a nice body that i could work on this winter while a save up for a builder engine to buy. I've looked at one 68 that ran, but the owner has stuckoed (not sure how to spell it) the outside of the car with stucko, the stuff you put on the outside of you house. I need something with little or easy body work. any ideas of where to look? also, is my budget too low? do i have a shot at finding something in my range? if not I can always wait till I have more money, im not in too much of a hurry

You're asking for the most desirable years of one of the most desirable muscle cars. I can ask around for 'ya. Remember unless it's local to you, you're looking at $1k to $2k for shipping to get the car delivered. Where are you at?

Re: 1968-1970 Charger

I live in Colorado, but I can easily get to basically any state around colorado...(Kansas, Wyo, I make frequent trips to arizona..I know there are some good rust free cars there, new mexico, nebraska, utah, oklahoma) I wouldn't really want to buy anything I cant look at in person, but it really depends. that would be great if you could ask around for me. what some good sites to try? I check craigslist, and moparts, but for the most part moparts is all restored expensive cars.

Try "racejunk.com" You'ld be surprised at some of the street cars that end up on that site.
