Angry problems

I installed a cd player in my deville, but I must have shorted something out because as I was pushing the new stereo in the dash all my instrument panel ligths and A/C went out (digital guages). I looked at all the fuses and none are blown. My stereo works fine aswell as all my headligths and turn ligths. But the a/c and guages are still dead.

Anyone have and Idea what could be wrong? I think it migth be a relay but I just got this car so I am unfamiliar with cadillacs. Please help me out. Thanks.

You might have blown a fusible link. I'm not familiar with their location in the new Caddys, but they usually run with the wiring harness. This is probably why you wouldn't see any fault in the fuse panel.

According to your user name I assume its a 1992.That car has wire that run across the dash and they are tight. As you were pushing the cd player in the dash you might have unplugged some wires.
