2000 Silverado Exhaust Manifold Removal HELP!

Hello. Does anyone have any good suggestions for removing the bolts on the exhaust manifolds for this truck. It has an aluminum block. THanks.

Re: 2000 Silverado Exhaust Manifold Removal HELP!

Welcome aboard , Does this mean you have already tried and they will not turn? Heat would be my first suggestion . Running the engine till warm so the aluminum will expand . I have had bad luck with impact wrenches because the bolts tend to be soft after years of heating and cooling. spraying penetrating oil may cause a fire if hot . Rob
