Do a search on this board for 4x4 and notice all the problems people are having with their 4x4's. Also, notice all the extra elec components, vacumm lines, etc. that are required for the 4x4. georgelovesdirt 10-04-2006, 09:27 AM yeh i have herd of the probs with 4x4, mine being a 2wd is probably why its lasted so long with no major probs. but i live in a very rural area with lots of snow, mud, and hills and an endless mixture of all three of those. i definatly could have used 4x4 more than a few times. the car is only worth about 3 and a half grand as it sits, how much would it cost me to drop a posi and a v8 in it and what milage would i get? beating rice burners in a blazer would be an accepatble replacement for being able to roll threw mud and snow. arent the 95's the most powerfull ones already? RJ MALIBU 10-04-2006, 08:46 PM Dont worry about mileage if your thinking V8. Not too expensive for posi and new nobby tires compared to modding to 4x4. Cheapest way to do it is buy a 4x4. blazes9395 10-04-2006, 09:57 PM Cheapest way to do it is buy a 4x4. I agree. The huge amount of work needed to make it work, simply is not worth it. I would'nt even consider it. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
