I am looking to add some width to my wheel/tire. I want to put on 31" OR 32" SSR with a torsion crank. Should I get aftermarket wheels (15") and by what? 8" or 10"? What size tire will fit with a 15" rim? Can you get 32" on a 15" rim, as compared to a 31" on a 16" rim? Is this thinking correct. Basically I want the tires to stick out of the wheel well about 1 or 2". What can I do? Any pics to see what they would look like?
Thanks you guys are great!!!!!!!

You are better off staying with stock wheels if you plan to actually take your rig offroad. Any other offset-width rim is going to cause rubbing and potential steering issues.

ssr's run bigger than what they state. so a 32 would probably not fit without a lift. i could be wrong but if your tires stick out a great distance from the wheel well, when your suspension flexes it might hit the fender and cause some damage.

How is this.....when I do my tire swap from 31" swampers to my Grabbers. The Grabbers are actually wider than the swampers!!! I built a shelf to store the tires and almost had to widen it!!
