renegade hybrids bs

First of all dont shoot me for asking this. I have absolutely no interest in performing such a modification. in my opinion it seems rediculous. But anyways here goes. I have heard alot about the renegade hybrids dropping 350s in 911s and 944s etc.. They claim that the motors weigh relatively the same as the porsche motors and therefore retain the cars original handling characteristics. even if they did weigh the same, which i doubt, the V configuration vs boxer would raise the center of gravity and all that bs. anyways my point is has anyone in here ever done or seen this done and actually driven the car. and i dont want anyone who has using a biased opinion because they are in denial that they sold their cars soul for some cheap hp.

The best thing I can do is send you a link to the Renegade Hybrids web site that has recorded testimonials from customers that have done business with them. If it makes any difference, I have a copy of Hot Rod Magazine that has an article entitled "Banzai Runners." This article features a Porsche that has a 350 Chevy in the engine bay.
