Re: RX-8 owners

sorry to hear that. I'm curious about the guy that about to put on the turbo kit. greddy numbers don't look to impressive for $5k. I wonder if he took his car to the drag strip before and then after.

Re: RX-8 owners

I took my car to the drag strip in sac and the best time I had was 14.678 at 95 or 96 not to sure, anyways I ended up cracking my thrust plate in half that night but I still drove it home. Next day I took it to the dealer and told them it was hard to put in reverse, they replaced it no questions asked. After the turbo kit I quit racing my car because where I live it is getting dangerous, and I dont plan on takinging it to the track anytime soon.

Re: RX-8 owners

I should have said before I put the turbo kit on I took my car to the track. I dont think it would be possible for me to remove the turbo kit in one day.

okay that makes more sense, but the greddy kit doesnt improve the 1/ much though, usually improves by about .2-.3 secs.

Re: RX-8 owners

that my be true but I think it all depend on the driver, I've seen one rx 8 with the greddy kit (and the ultimate) running consistent 13.9-14.1 on the quarter. no modification to the system except for better tunning, a BOV and really good tires.

Re: RX-8 owners

I guess most RX8 owners hang out on www.rx8club.com . I ususally check their forum for RX8 related questions.
