Ahhh, Finally I have found my car. I have been looking for a 240SX for about 6 months now and have been unsuccesful until today.
The car is a pearl white 1995 S14 240SX. I checked the local paper today when I woke up to see if any new 240's had appeared in there and there it was, sitting there. I immediatley called and rushed over there to check it out. I got there and looked at it, it was a beautiful car. It's 5 speed as well. Many options including the cd player and alarm system. So anyways I asked the guy if I could take it for a test drive and he said sure. So we hopped in and started driving. The car handled so well and rode like it was brand new. I asked him if he had maintained it good and he had all the reciepts since the day he bought it new. It had been maintained very well and it was in perfect condition. It has 92k miles on it. The price - $7000. Kelly Blue Book retails it at $6490, but I was tired of waiting to find one and this car was perfect, so I bought it. The only bad thing is that I have to wait until tuesday to take it home because all the banks are closed here due to it being sunday and they are closed tomorrow because of labor day. So I gave him a $500 deposit and he said he'd hold it. So I'll have it on tuesday and I'll surely post up some pics as soon as I get it. It feels so good to finally own one :)

Congrats man...yeah get those pics up. Does it have the sunroof? ABS/LSD? Leather? What size tires? Any mods?

NISSANSPDR: Nah, no sunroof. I would have liked one but I'll settle without one. Yes, it does have ABS along with the LSD. Uh-oh, do I see some drifting? Tires are 205/60/15. And the car is completely stock. I plan on sticking with the KA and turbocharging it somewhere down the line. I originally was planning on getting an SR when I was looking for the older S13's just because most of the cars that I found all had about 160k miles on them. But now that this one is still under 100k then I think I'll stick with the KA and just turbo that sometime.

ahhhhhhh sooo basically you got the same car that i got before i repainted it to flat white. nice~ yeah that car handles really nice. cause most of the S13's are sooo old that the shocks are all fucked up and shit. soooo congrats on the purchase and i hope ot see pics up of it soon. then maybe we can compare our cars to each other. heh

So you got the base model and not the SE? (mine's a base too). I cant stand the base 15 alloys, nor the HUGE fender gap.

Right now Im $200 away from a full suspension/wheel upgrade.

BTW, sux that you had to pay that much, but when you have the craving for drift, you take what you get. Watch out for carbon build-up in the engine, flimsy door pieces, flimsy trunk lining, and broken exhaust holders.

since he has a LSD i think its a special SE with ABS

I dont know about the 15's...I think it's time for some 16 inch K1 Kosei's. (IE Buddy Clubs in Japan)

I dont think he has the SE because he says he has 15-inch wheels, when the SE comes with 16 inch 5-spoke alloys.

Owner previous could have gone retro and put some 15 inch wheels that are 5 lug...dont rule out the possible...

but the 15's only comes 4 lugs.

Hey guys, I was wrong about the 15"ers. It is an SE model with 16" wheels. Sorry for no pics posted yet, but check back tomorrow for them.

For argument sake...it could be some small non Nissan 15 inch wheels...

ok correct me if im wrong, but only the Base models came with 15" 4 lug wheels, and no ABS, and no LSD, BUT i think those were options. i know my base model has no abs or LSD.......yet anyways......but 300zx brakes cured my no abs woes......i just have to be careful not to lock them while racing.....

Yeah I love the car. Before I got this I was driving around a 96 integra and you can just feel how much more torque this thing has than the teg did. It's a pretty fast car, but of course, like anybody, you only want to go faster :D . And yes, I have beat a honda. My first race in it was on the way home from picking it up and I was on the freeway going about 65 when some guy in this hyundai elantra with huge chrome rims and a big NOS banner stretching across his window. So anyways, I was driving about 65 and he rolled up next to me and dropped it down into 3rd gear(I'm guessing) and then cruised next to me and then he floored it. With the massive torque ;) from the KA, I didn't even downshift and I blew by him in a matter of seconds. Next race, still on the way home but this time I was at a stoplight when some riced out civic rolled up to the stoplight also and just started revving away and looking over at me. I didn't rev back but I just pointed forward so he knew it was on. Once again, he didn't stand a chance. We both got up to about 70 and then I just stopped because he wasn't catching up at all and I didn't want to risk getting a ticket (or crashing the car) on the first day I had it. It's amazing how many people will try to hit you up for a race, even if you are driving a stock car. But yeah, I'm loving the car right now and I'm just thinking of what my first mod should be. hmmmmmm.....?????

You are correct but he does have the SE model.

congrats !!! i know how you feel J SPEC i did the same thing. soo hard to find, thats why we love our 240's. all of us here in this forum are different from everyother cheesy ricer, with too many stickers you cant even see the color of the original paint. or him and 10 of his friends got the same civic with altezzas. hehe.. gotta love the 240/siliva....we are the few and the proud !!

ahhhhh well in your opinion which car is faster? i'm guessin that you would pick the teg. cusae my friends teg smokes me all the time. its not even a contest anymore. lolz. but i still say my car is fairly quick. however. i don't think its as fast as it should be. and no one tried to race me. its rarely that ever happens. only a 5th gen prelude tried me once. and we were starting at 90mph!!! i knew his top end would destroy me. soo i even didn't bother no matter how much he was bugging the hell out of me by following me.

I think that my 240 is faster then my teg I had. I just had the base model LS coupe. So it only had 140hp and 128 lb's of torque which is just a little lower then the 240. I have driven an integra GSR and that was faster than the 240. Even though it was faster, I still like the 240 more. What kind of teg is your friends?

I'm going to try and turbo the KA. My first mod that I have planned is some sort of a suspension setup. I will probably go with some shocks (either tokico or koni probably) and then I'm not sure if I want some sleeve and spring coilovers like ground control or if I just want some springs like eibach. I'd like a full suspension setup like tein or something but I don't have an extra 1500 to spend on it right now.

he has a 94 LS 4 door. and he beats me by 2 cars. and i also have a friend that has a 01 accord LX coupe. that takes me by about 2 cars too. i know what yoru saying. cause the 240 pulls hard after every shift. but the pull dies down as it revs. the integ still has the pull all the way to red line even though the initial pull isn't as hard. that is why the 240 feels faster. but if you count how fast it takes to climb to redline. the 240 takes forever compared to the more squared hondas.

I did a little modifications to my car to see how it would look. Doesn't look that bad with those rims on there and a nice drop. (yes I know there are no brakes behind the wheels, it was a quick 5 minute PS)

Tein's...depending upon where you go...are not that expensive as you say...I've seen them for like 990 or so...and I really hope you dont ask me where cuz I cant remember...hehe...but I could find them...

NissanSpdr can i take you up on that offer? I am trying to find a good deal on some H&R sports or a prokit. So far I can get either set for 210 (shipping incl). Would it be possible for you to get me a better deal?

well i think the the Tenzo Mean 6 in gun metal are the only rims to get. those things are mean! but i woudlnt' drop my S14. too many potholes in nyc. my car wouldn't survive.
