What do you think of the forum changes?
What are your opinions of the new sections for the forum?

To be honest, it is completely confusing.

the "regular" section is for general questions or questions/topics that do not fit in any of the new categories.
the only confusing thing i see is that some of the subforums are linked to the other s-series forums. its really not that bad.

I understand that. But probably 95% of them could be placed in the other categories, mainly the "problem" category.

Re: What do you think of the forum changes?
I like the new sub forums. They are a benefit to multiple forums, because they are linked to all the S-series forums (Blazer, Bravada, Jimmy, S-10, and Sonoma). The Blazer forum is by far the most active forum of those listed, and the others get neglicted. This way may seem more complicated, but by consolidating all the the forums like this, it makes it much easier for the guys that frequented all the forums to help people. It also makes it possible for the guys that just visit the Blazer forum to help those people as well. So far, several of the people that you guys have helped were being ignored in the other forums. The Blazer forum has some of the most knowledgeable guys on all of AF, and I think it's great that now your knowledge is being shared with forums that never got help before.

Re: What do you think of the forum changes?
It's kind of tough to get used to , but I'm glad that it's helping out people from the other s-forums. I know that they were having trouble on the other forums, but it seemed like a lot of the people were being directed to the blazer forum.
We do seem to have the best people on the blazer forum . Our knowledge base blows everyone else out of the water. I guess we just need to relearn the sub forums, and remember that "change is good" .

Where is the Edit function?
Seems to have gone missing.......or has someone stripped the capability from my account.

Which forums are missing the edit feature? The How-to section is suppose to be the only one. If there are more it is a mistake. Your account is the same as everyone else's, there's no reason to make it any different.

Re: What do you think of the forum changes?
Well, I would like the new changes, but it won't let me post in anything but the "Off-Topic" forum.

That's odd. The forums' posting rules are set up as permissions based on User Group. I just checked and you're set up the same as everyone else. If you were a newbie, I'd think you were doing something wrong, but with 133 posts, I'm sure that you know what you're doing. Go ahead and try to reply to a thread in each one of the forums (it doesn't matter which threads), so we can find out which forums are giving you problems. Then I'll send a message to the admin to check it out.
The only forum with restrictions is the how to/ tech forum. Members can't start threads or edit posts, but everyone should be able to post replies.
