Door lock problem

I have a 98 GTP that was a T/L. I rebuilt it, and love it, by the way, these things are torqey. The problem I am having is when I lock the doors everthing is ok, when I press unlock once, the drivers door unlocks as per normal, but if I press unlock twice to unlock all the doors, I blow the fuse. I have a, jeeze, I don't know what it is, U shaped thing under the hood, attached to the top centre of the firwall, 2 wires coming out of it, to a connector, that's not hooked to anything. I think the wiring from this thing is suposed to run to near the battery, but there's nothing there to hook it to. Everything else on the cars works perfectly so I wonder if this has something to do with my lock problem.

Thx, Murray

ur problem is in one of ur passenger doors (all doors other than drivers door). isolate out the lock wires and follow them through the system, and i bet ull find that one of ur wires is pinched or cut and is grounding out when you hit the button the second time.
