Re: 8 puck stage 3 clutch?

there isn't an 8 puck clutch for any Honda....or possibly for any anything.

The closest thing is either a 4 puck or a 6 puck. There is not need for anything more than a 6 puck. What is he using it for?? I'm running an Exedy 3 puck right now in my GSR and its holding the power listed in the sig. The next clutch i'm moving to is a ClutchMasters unsprung stage 5 6puck. That will hold more power than you know what to do with.

Re: 8 puck stage 3 clutch?

im confused. i thought the more pucks, the less power it can handle? Like a stock clutch for a civic or integra is like 10 puck right?

Re: 8 puck stage 3 clutch?

there street discs...there solid all around....the pucks are broken up into sections...if you go with a puck clutch make sure it has a sprung hub

Re: 8 puck stage 3 clutch?

there are basically 5 clutch variations:

1. Full face--this is what most stock cars run
2. 6 puck
3. 4 puck
4. 3 puck
5. Twin/Triple plate

--personally i have the Exedy 3 puck--
