I have a 89 colt 1.5L that runs, but it will just out of the blue, not start.. it will start and run every day then for 2-3 days run when your first start it... then you shut it off and it wont start for a few hours... very weird... it also has a rough idle and the check engine light comes on after a few mins of running... I have tried to get the fault codes on it but schucks doesn't have a scanner that will work for it... they said its under the hood.. but from what I have found its under the dash..... I also have another ECM from a wrecking yard and that doesn't change any of the problems in any way.. so I don't feel that is my problem... when it wont start the spark is a dull gray instead of the bright white... and it seemed to be able to push start it... so confused.....

You may want to check in at the Mitsubishi forum since this was built by them and Chrysler rebadged it.
