Wow.. Anyone ever hear of this before...

I started up my car and heard a weird sound, so i said meh sometimes it will make a weird sound when it starts. Then when its idling the battery light is on, again im like odd.. so i back out to get out, turn the wheel and its veryyyyy hard, my power steering is gone.. so im like ok whats going on, i open the hood. Serpentine belt is off. So i go to reroute it, i have 2 feet of extra belt... after thinking for a minute, i was missing a whole freaking pulley... I reaCh down by the firewall and there is my tensioner pulley, broken off by the metal bracket! How the hell did this happen?! I think its held in by a bolt but there was no bolt and it didnt wrip out by the bolt, it broke off from where it connects to the engine bracket or w/e.. I didnt get a good look at it, but its in my trunk right now and my gf picked me up, so were off to pick ur part today, hopefully its easy to get one off.

ANYONE ever hear of this before?!

Yup it seems to be workin fine now, im guessing one of the bolts loosened then it had some play and the belt yanked on it and ripped it out.
