I'm considering buying a 96 Escort with 85,000 miles on it. It is a 4 door 5 speed with a 1.9 engine. It seems to run good and is in good condition but I know nothing about this particular engine and its pluses or minuses. Any of you all that have had one and experienced their benefits or their negative aspects I sure would like to hear from you.
