1995 Blazer A/C question. Is there a clutch relay?

Hello all,

Is there an a/c clutch relay on a 4d 95 blazer? If so, which one is it?

Also, there is a diode installed in the harness leading up to the clutch. It's contained in a white crimp on connector kinda like a scotch-lock connector. It's approx 1 foot from the plug on the clutch.

One wire on the connector is marked with a y and one with an x. Could you please tell me which color wire corresponds with which letter? I removed the connector looking for a fuse link and I cant remember which wire goes where.

Thanks in advance!

the relay is second from left on the firewall.
to find out which way the diode goes. with the comp. relay removed hook a test light to power. see which wire is grounded. block the path to grd with the diode.
