i bought my 1990 eclipse gst on a thursday. i talked him down to 2400 from 2600. now mind you this is the power you have when you pay in cash. now i did buy the car as is. but with only 100,000 miles i thought the 4g63 engine shouldnt have any problems for a while. well i was wrong. that saturday i went to work and popped my hood and saw my o2 sensor wire on fire because the dipstick popped up and allowed oil to get on it and the exhuast manifold heated it up. well i left it alone all day. the engine had a hard time starting after work so i had a friend follow me home and luckily i did because it stalled at a light and wouldnt restart. turned out the oil fried the alternator. well anyway too it back to royal car sales on rt 13. they knew i bought it as is but fixed it anyway. i had a melted exhaust valve. they had to pull off the head to get to it. so i got a valve job, new head gasket, new boost controller, oil change, new battery and rebuilt alternator for free. havnt had a problem with it since.

so i highly recommend the car lot on rt 13 across from the 7-11 in levittown, pa.
