there is a hole in the pump body that removes high pressure. at work i drill that out cause if it doesnt dump enough fluid then i blows out the front deal. id hate to say it but you might have a pump problem. while your at it you should just change the converter too for one it overheated and your lockup clutchs might be bad and two check the converter hub cause if it has a nick on it, it will wear the front seal and the front bushing in the bell housing which will leak too
