Turn Signals

Turn Signals Won't Blink. Bulbs Are All Ok. Is It The Turn Signal Switch?

Try a new signal light flasher. It may help if you tell us what your car is.

Thanks, The signal flasher unit is the place to start, I should have said signal flasher in the above post. If the flasher is good it's possible the hazard switch needs replacing or cleaning. You can check for a hazard switch problem by jumpering from terminal 7 to terminal 8 on the hazard flasher switch with a test lead. If the jumper clears the problem the hazard switch is the problem. Usually a turn signal switch wouldn't be bad in both directions. You may need a wiring diagram and something to check voltage, a cheap multimeter or a test lamp. On the left click on stock schematics, then MGB. You will need the Late US Market MGB From Haynes diagram. These diagrams are in color and easier to follow than those in Haynes and other publications.
