While driving, engine died, towed home. Scanner says p0300 random missfire.
Not running on cly 1 and 3. Exhauast systm glowing red hot. Seems wants to fire to early when cranking, when started wants to shake out of car but will run if you give it some gas with pedal. Please help with troubleshooting steps and or link. Any ideas on what may be wrong.

Thanks in advance for any hlp you can give

Re: quad 4 p0300

Welcome to AF!!

It it isn't firing on 1 & 3 then the coil has probably gone bad. The coil for one and three is the same and it would be as simple as replacing the coil to repair it. You may also want to change the other coil as well along with the plugs and boots. This way everything that is prone to go bad will be replaced especially since you have everything apart anyway.
